Selection of Office Bearers for Economics Association
Faculty members of the department held an interaction with the students of economics from all streams to select office bearers and executive members of the Economics Association. Students were chosen on the basis of their confidence level, previous participation record and willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities in future.
The
students showed a keen interest and elaborated on the activities in which they
would like to participate such as quiz, declamation, debate, article writing
etc. As these extra-curricular activities play a vital role in the overall
personality development of students. Therefore, faculty encouraged the students
to actively participate in the various activities of the economics department.
