Our Students Triumph at D.A.V. Inter-College Competition

Students of P.G Department of Economics participated in “Ecomania-2024”, an inter-college competition organised by P.G Department Economics of D.A.V College, Jalandhar on 20th March 2024. Students of the department participated in various events such as Paper Reading, Power Point Presentation, Rangoli, Chart Making, Quiz and Theme Based Choreography. The students performed exceptionally well and grabbed various prizes making the institution proud. 

The Quiz team comprising of Preeti (B.A.B.Ed Sem VI), Aarti (B.Sc Eco Sem IV) and Chandni (B.Sc Eco Sem IV) came first; in Theme Based Choreography our team comprising of Arpanjot (MBEIT Sem IV), Deepu (B.A.B.Ed Sem VI), Yukta (B.A.B.Ed Sem VI) and Supreet (B.Sc Eco Sem IV) came first; Pooja of MBEIT Sem II got the third prize in Chart Making Competition and Khushi of B.Sc Eco Sem II got the Consolation prize; the Rangoli team comprising of Pooja and Sakshi of MBEIT Sem II got the consolation prize. 

Student of PCM S.D. College Grab Top Position in MBEIT in GNDU Examinations, May 2023

PCM S. D. College for Women, Jalandhar has been excelling in producing university top rankers. Keeping the record intact, students of MBEIT have performed exceptionally well in Semester II examinations and have brought laurels to the institution. Simran Sonik secured 350/500 (70%) marks whereas Arpanjot Kaur secured first position in the University by scoring 388/500 (78%) marks. 

Another Feather in Our Cap!!

PCM SDites made a mark for themselves in GNDU result of MBEIT Semester – III with their trail blazing achievements. Deepali Bhigamal and Komalneel Kaur become toppers in university examinations.

Students of MBEIT Semester- III of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar bag top University positions. Deepali Bhigamal bagged first university position by securing 408 marks out of 500 (81.60%) and Komalneel Kaur made it to second position by securing 375 (75%). 

Students shine bright in Talent Hunt 2022-23

Students of the department performed very well in the Talent Hunt function held in the college on 30th September and 1st October 2022. They took part in various events and put up a great show in all of them. Students of B.Sc. (Economics) Semester I, Suprit, Arshnoor and Prachi, performed a group song and got 3rd prize whereas as Jeenat of same class got consolation prize in Mehendi art. Also, Pooja of B.A. Semester V earned 2nd prize in Mehendi art while she stood 1st in declamation competition. 

We Did it Again!!

PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar always endeavors for achieving excellence in the field of education. Adding one more feather in its cap, Arpanjot Kaur of MBEIT Semester-I grabbed first position in university by securing 357 out of 500 marks.  

President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia Ji, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada ji, other benevolent members of the managing committee and honorable Principal Prof (Dr.) Pooja Prashar congratulated her on having aced the examination and for bringing laurels to the institution and congratulated the faculty for their dedicated efforts.

Glory Abound

Result of B.Sc. (Economics) Semester VI of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar has been remarkably outstanding in GNDU examinations and three students passed with distinction.

Tanvi Bahri bagged first position in the college by scoring 1866 (77.75%) marks out of 2400 marks, Garisha stood second in the college by getting 1817 (75.70%) marks and Ritika scored 1811(75.47%) marks and booked third position in the college.

Young Achievers

Students of Masters in Business Economics & Information Technology (MBEIT) Semester II have brought laurels to the institution by grabbing top positions in GNDU examinations.

Deepali Bighamal secured first position in the University in MBEIT Semester II by scoring 380/500 (76%) marks whereas Komalneel Kaur stood second in the University by scoring 360/500 (72%) marks. President Shri Naresh Kumar Budhia ji, other members of the management and Principal Prof.(Dr.) Prashar lauded the achievers and wished them luck for their future endeavors.
