Interaction Online Guest Lecture on the topic "Financial Literacy" (28.8.25) 

PG Department of Economics of PCM S.D. College for Women organized an online guest lecture on the topic “Financial Literacy” on 28 August 2025 at 1:00 pm. The primary objective of the session was to enhance students’ understanding of financial knowledge and to highlight its importance in everyday life, especially for young learners preparing for future responsibilities.

The Economics Association of PCM SD College for Women, Jalandhar successfully organised two debate competitions in Room No. 13 at 9:40 a.m., witnessing enthusiastic participation and active intellectual engagement from the students. The events aimed to encourage critical thinking, improve argumentation skills, and create awareness about important socio-economic issues.

Economics Association of PCM S.D College for Women, Jalandhar organized Article Writing Competition on 16^th April 2025 at 11.30 a.m. in room no. 13. Kasak from B.Sc. Economics Sem IV Secured First position in Article Writing Competition.

 ICSSR Sponsored One Day National Seminar (29.3.25)

The Department of Economics at PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, successfully organized an ICSSR-sponsored National Seminar on the theme "Sustaining Growth with Equity: Roadmap for Development of Entrepreneurship in Punjab."
