PG Department of Economics

Dr. Divya Budhia is Assistant Professor in Department of Economics since 2009 and is heading the department at present. She is known for her passion to bring out the best in her pupils, both in academics as well as in extra mural activities. She has an extensive knowledge of the discipline and teaches concepts of economics with a practical approach. Numerous students have been benefitted by her problem-solving skills. 

Qualification: B.Sc. (Economics), M.A. (Economics), UGC-NET qualified and pursuing Ph.D. Area of research is Education. Completed four-week course in Statistics and Probability by NPTEL.  She has also successfully attended many Workshops and Faculty Development Programs. 

Skills: She is adept in basic computing and communication skills and Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) software.

Experience: She has teaching experience of 16 years. 

Achievements: She has presented papers in various international and national conferences/seminars. She has also got various research papers published in refereed national and international journals and has contributed chapters in edited books. She has authored one book on Business Statistics and has also guided many post-graduate students for their research projects. She also has an Intellectual Property Right to her name in the form of a Copyright. Apart from that she is actively involved in various activities at the institutional level.
