Declamation was held on 21.09.22
The Department of Economics organized declamation competition on the theme "Indian Economy after 75 years of Independence". The event gave students an opportunity to express their opinions on the current state of the economy.

Economics Association of the department organized poster-making competition on the theme "Indian Economy after 75 years of Independence". The students participated in the event with full zeal and presented their views in an effective way.

Investiture Ceremony Held on 31.10.22
Economic Association of PCM S.D. College for women, Jalandhar organized Investiture Ceremony on 31st October, 2022 at 11:45 a.m., in which students were adorned with badges representing various acclaimed offices. Madam Principal congratulated the students on their acquiring new roles and motivated them to perform duties attached with these offices to their best abilities.
Debate Competition Held on 14.11.22
Economic Association of PCM S. D. College organized a Debate Competition “Let’s Debate” on various topics of interest in which students of B.A., B.Sc. (Economics) and B.Ed. Semester-V participated with full zeal.
Power Point Presentation Competition Held on 15.11.22
P.G. Department Economics of the college organized a Power Point Presentation competition on 15.11.22 at 12.20 p.m. in MBEIT Lab. Students of economics from various streams of Semester 3 participated in the competition with great zeal and interest as well as shown excellent skills in delivering their ideas through the PPTs.

Nature's Best Friend Contest Held on 18.11.22
P.G. Department Economics of the college, in collaboration with Green & Environment Audit Cell, organized “Nature’s Best Friend” contest, in which students of economics from various streams of Semester 1 participated with great zeal and interest. They made beautiful and creative planters for plants by using waste materials. The competition focused on bringing an understanding among the students about preserving the environment by reusing and recycling waste material.

Economic Association of PCM S. D. College organized a Quiz Competition on 04-03-2023. Students of economics from various streams participated in the competition with great enthusiasm and interest as well as showed excellent performance in the competition.
