B.A. (with Economics) / B.A. (with Economics Hons.)
Undertake this course if you want to know how the economies around the world function and interact. The course duly apprises the students regarding fundamentals of economic analysis and how various economic principles are applied in households, societies, businesses, government and private sectors.
Duration: The course is for three years i.e., six semesters.
Eligibility:
- B.A. (with Economics): Students who have passed 10 + 2 exam of Punjab School Education Board (P.S.E.B.) or any other equivalent exam with minimum of 40 per cent aggregate marks can pursue this under-graduate course comprising of six semesters.
- B.A. (with Economics Hons.): Students who have scored more than 50 per cent marks in economics in semester I & semester II and also more than 50 per cent marks in aggregate are eligible to do B. A. with Economics Hons.
Higher Education: Students can pursue M.A., M.Sc., MBEIT, MBA and various P.G. Diplomas depending upon their optional subjects at under-graduate level.
Career Options: Students can build careers in various government services like administrative services, police services, railways, post offices, etc. as well as in private sector.
