Case Study Presentation Competition (24.9.25)
Economics Association of PCM S.D. College for Women organized a Case Study Presentation Competition on 'Comparative Study of Growth & Development' on 24th September 2025 at 9:40 AM in the MBEIT Lab. The
event aimed to enhance students analytical and research skills by encouraging
them to explore and present real-world economic scenarios.
The session
witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of BA, B.Sc., and B.Ed.
(Semester 5). The presentations were based on comparative economic studies of
different countries, giving students an opportunity to apply theoretical
knowledge to practical case studies. The students presented their work: Rulli -
Canada vs Afghanistan, Harmanpreet Comparative Study of India and Japan, Anshu
and Savita Comparison between India and Pakistan, Khushi and Pallavi -
Developed vs Underdeveloped Country: UK and Pakistan, Kasak - South Korea's
Path vs Nigeria's Struggle. Each presentation was well-researched and
informative, highlighting important socio-economic indicators, development
models, and policy implications. The students demonstrated confidence and
clarity while presenting their topics. The session proved to be highly
interactive, with participants engaging in meaningful discussions and asking
questions, thereby enriching the learning experience. President Shri Naresh
Budhia, Senior Vice President Shri Vinod Dada, members of the managing
committee, Principal Pooja Prashar, and the Head of the Department, Mrs. Divya
Budhia, and other faculty members of the department congratulated the students
of the Economics Department and urged them to continue their pursuit of
excellence. They commended the students for their achievements and
contributions, which reflect their calibre. Overall, it was a motivating
experience for the students, reinforcing their commitment to excellence and
celebrating their achievements.
