Live Screening of the Union Budget
The Department of Economics held the Live Screening of the National Budget on 1st February 2024 at 11 a.m. in MBEIT lab for students of economics across all classes. It was an engaging and educational event aimed at providing students with a deeper understanding of the national budget and its implications.
The live screening helped students grasp key provisions regarding allocations and policy measures proposed by the government. The event also served as a platform for students to enhance their civic engagement, critical thinking and awareness of economic and political affairs. Students of classes B.A and B.Sc. (Economics) 2nd, 4th and 6th semester attended the event. The college Management and worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Pooja Prashar congratulated encouraged this valuable initiative in bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world economic challenges.
